1. Who we are
Delhi Doc Centre is a private, independent consultancy agency. This is not a government website and we are not affiliated with any government department. This policy describes our own handling of information; it is not a government privacy policy.
Delhi Doc Centre provides preparation, printing and delivery support. Privacy questions and requests may be sent to support@delhidoccentre.in.
2. Information this policy covers
Depending on the service requested, information may include:
- Name, mobile number, email address and preferred contact channel.
- Account invitation, sign-in, session and security-event information needed to protect the customer portal.
- Selected service, order details, customer correspondence and complaint history.
- Customer-supplied certificate information and supporting documents when reasonably necessary.
- Parent, legal-guardian or representative authority relating to the requested record.
- Receiver name, delivery address, PIN code, print preference and tracking status.
- Payment reference, payment status, refund status and invoice information. Full card details, UPI PINs and payment authentication credentials are not collected by Delhi Doc Centre.
- Technical and security information such as IP address, browser type, request time and abuse-prevention logs when the production service requires it.
3. Child-related information
Where an order concerns a person under 18, Delhi Doc Centre accepts the order only from the child's parent or lawful guardian. Before providing child-related information, the customer must confirm that they are at least 18 years old and are authorised to act for the child.
Only information and documents reasonably necessary for the selected service should be provided. Child-related information is used only to review, prepare, fulfil and support that order, and is shared only with authorised service providers or other recipients needed for that purpose or required by law.
Child-related information is not used for behavioural tracking or targeted advertising. A parent or lawful guardian may request access, correction, withdrawal of consent or deletion by contacting support@delhidoccentre.in, subject to lawful retention requirements.
Before live processing, adult identity and parental or guardian authority may be verified using a proportionate method. Delhi Doc Centre will not request an OTP, payment credential or unrelated identity information for this purpose.
4. Where information comes from
Information is provided by the customer, created while fulfilling the customer’s order, obtained with the customer’s specific authorisation, or taken from a lawfully available source where its use is permitted. When a record is used to determine available services or send an account invitation, record details are not displayed until the invited customer has completed the required sign-in check. Delhi Doc Centre does not ask customers to provide unrelated records.
5. Why information is used
- Respond to enquiries and provide a quotation.
- Create, verify and fulfil the selected order.
- Send an account invitation, verify a Delhi Doc Centre sign-in and display only the records and services linked to that customer account.
- Review and prepare customer-authorised information.
- Print, package, dispatch and support delivery where selected.
- Verify payment status, issue an invoice, process a refund and reconcile an order.
- Provide essential service and security communications.
- Investigate complaints, prevent abuse and meet legal, accounting and tax obligations.
6. Payment information
A payment provider processes payment credentials and authentication on its own secure page or application. Delhi Doc Centre may receive a transaction reference, amount, method category and payment status, but it does not store a full card number, card security code, UPI PIN, online-banking password or authentication code.
8. Communications
Essential account invitations, Delhi Doc Centre sign-in codes, order, payment, complaint, delivery and security updates may be sent through the customer’s selected channel. Promotional communication requires separate consent and may be stopped without affecting essential service messages.
9. Retention
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the active request, fulfilment, support, dispute resolution, security and applicable legal duties. When it is no longer needed, information is deleted, anonymised or access-restricted according to the verified operational retention process.
Payment, tax and accounting records may need to be kept for the legally required period even after service documents are removed.
10. Security
Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used to restrict unauthorised access, alteration, loss or disclosure. Access should be limited to people and providers who need it for the confirmed service.
Delhi Doc Centre may issue its own one-time code solely for signing in to the customer portal. That code should be entered only on delhidoccentre.in and should not be shared in chat or by telephone. Delhi Doc Centre will never ask for a password, PIN or authentication code issued by a bank, payment provider or another platform.
11. Customer requests and complaints
A customer may ask for information about their personal data, request correction or deletion where applicable, withdraw optional marketing consent, or raise a complaint by contacting support@delhidoccentre.in.
Identity and authority may need to be verified before a request is completed. A request may be limited where information must be retained for an active dispute, fraud prevention or a legal obligation.
Delhi Doc Centre customer care is the grievance contact. Complaints are acknowledged within 48 hours and addressed within one month.
12. Website technologies
The website uses only technologies needed for security, session continuity and service functionality. Any optional analytics, advertising or similar technology must be disclosed and used with consent where required.
13. External links
Links to payment, communications, courier or other independent services are governed by those providers’ privacy practices. Customers should review them before providing information.
14. Policy revisions
Material revisions will be posted on this page. The order record preserves the policy version accepted by the customer. A later revision does not retrospectively change a confirmed order unless required by law or expressly agreed with the customer.
